• Hunting – it’s posible to do some small game hunting.
• Nature and cultural trails – marked trails with opportunities for wonderful experiences. Tronsvangen Nature Trail, Langodden Cultural Heritage Trail, botanical walk in Tronfjell. There are nine other marked trails, three of which start from Gjelten Bru Camping.”
• Hiking – Alvdal Vestfjell. The Norwegian Trekking Association’s network of trails. Multiple accommodation options.
• Aukrustsenteret – Many exciting activities and exhibitions.
• Hanggliding – great conditions from Tronfjellet.
• Rowboat, canoe, kayak – rivers and mountain lakes offer fantastic nature experiences.
• Playgrounds and ball games – School sports field near Gjelten Bru Camping.
• Ski tracks – 120 km of groomed trails. Lighted trail near Gjelten Bru Camping.
• Savalen – Alpine slope and cross-country arena with illuminated trails.
• Sandeggbakkene – Floodlit ski jumping facility
• Ice fishing – At Savalen, in Glåma and many other mountain lakes.
